“Traveling – it leaves you speechless, then turns you into a storyteller.” – Ibn Battuta
In general, everyone loves to travel, the main reason for this is basically during travel one can able to view various new places, watch new things, learn something different and etc. I also fall into the same category, which seeks the rush of adrenaline and the joy of a newly experienced. I find solace in the solitude of nature, I find the joy in gushing waters, and I skip like a child when I think of adventure.
It all began a few months ago when my friend suggested that we should visit Goa during October. To visit Goa was always there on my bucket list, just thinking of Goa and my imagination takes me to those buzzing night clubs, water sports on the beach, bikini babes enjoying the sun, lot of alcohol and some more alcohol.
Hence, without giving much thought we decided to travel to Goa for that lifetime experience. We thought to pre-plan everything perfectly before we reached our destination but as they say, excitement always lets you forget everything. So the only thing which we had was our return tickets from Go Air Airlines which eventually I was able to get at on a much-discounted rate through Yatra.com.
The excitement was even more as we both were traveling via airline first time and that too one of our dream destination “Goa”. As we were traveling for the first time, many things were new to us but as they say, everything that happens for the first time we should enjoy it to the fullest, likewise even we did the same thing with completely enjoying the surprises that unveiled one after another.
I was here, in Goa – the ultimate wait was over.
We managed to get the best deal at one of the Hotel near Candolim beach, My Goa vacation was all about relaxing and enjoying the best of coastal India. Goa is famous for its moonlight and beach parties. These nightclubs and lounges are the major crowd puller that fascinates people from across the world. These are the best places to unwind yourself completely in the amazing environment and serves as the best destination for party lovers.
Day 1 – As it was the 1st day in Goa after a good night’s sleep we took out some leisure time to rest at Baga beach with oil massage after delicious lunch at St. Anthony’s. Just wandered all evening around the beach and thinking why it took me so long to be here?
Day 2 – It was time for a well-planned adventure to start now. We were scheduled to go for an island trip @ Bat Island and some more near them. The deal was of INR 1500 per person includes drinks, snacks, lunch, snorkeling and leisure time.
Day 3 – Dudhsagar trek was scheduled for the day. 160 km to and fro road trip on scooty. Sounds Insane! And that’s what we love to do, insane stuff! We stuffed light meals in our bellies. Luscious food with striking ambiance and lavish bills. We hit the street at 9 am in the morning and reached Dudhsagar at 2:00 pm.
It was more than what we expected. We left the place by 04:00 pm to reach Goa before the sun set.
Day 4 – This was our day for beach hopping, our last destination being Arambol beach, we left from Calungate stopping at each beach for a few hours. Having Lunch at Thalassa, Vagator. We chilled a little at Morjim beach, then quickies at Ashvem and Mandrem, then we reached Arambol.
We wrapped up from there by 7:00 pm and reached our guest house, packed our bags and returned the scooty. It was the time, time to bid adieu to Goa, to its street, landscape, people. We head to the airport to catch our flight back to Delhi.
That was an unforgettable trip which I am going to live throughout in my life. My trip to Goa was really an awesome experience and I would surely plan again to spend my holidays in Goa.
