Road To Mexico – India Subcontinent’s very first 3×3 Pro Basketball League Competition

The Exclusive tournament, titled ‘Road To Mexico’ – India Subcontinent’s very first 3×3 Pro Basketball League Competition, was hosted recently on the 16th and 17th September 2017 at the Ambience Mall Gurgaon.

“Road To Mexico”, was a 2-day league cum knockout tournament with 12 teams participated. Of the 12 teams, 6 were the international, including Hamamatsu, Tsukuba, Yokohama while the other 6 were selected from India (IOB, ONGC, Railways, Services, Ludhiana Basketball Academy, and Vijaya Bank).

3×3 is FIBA’s second official discipline and will be played in Tokyo 2020 at the Olympics. Considering India with its sheer unlimited pool of athletes and talent to offer, Indian team have had their fair share of success in the tournament. The event was organized by YKBK ENTERPRISE PRIVATE LIMITED, as a showcase event for the international 3×3 Pro Basketball League ‘3BL’ in association with International Basketball Federation (FIBA)

In this edition of ‘3×3 Road to Mexico’, Hamamatsu from Japan emerged champions and won an all-expense paid trip to participate in the FIBA 3×3 World Tour – Mexico City, which is getting started by September 30.
